Lost and Found

I have finished reading all the six books of this Novella Series, and this is my absolute favourite of them all.
When Lydia moved into her sister-in-laws condo for the summer, she was supposed to have an exciting time and an adventurous time. But she spent it reading and on the day of her return, she felt rather disappointed with herself for not taking the chances. Blake has been working hard at becoming a partner at his firm. When he had taken a break to go get a box of his grandpa’s things, he felt he was on a wild goose chase all the while work piling up on his desk and threatening his chances. When these two people cross paths at the airport and their flight gets cancelled - fate things in its hands. But will it bring them together for a single adventure or for life?
Blake is a smart and heart melting sort of a guy. A hard working and caring guy who could make any girl secured. Lydia on the other hand is a shy and responsible girl. They complement and complete each other. The characters are well developed with their own shades. The plot is simple and predictable. The narration style of the author is smooth and simple. This is overall a simple heartwarming love story that keeps its readers engulfed in it.
The nest part of the book is the message that it passes along. 100% relevant to all modern day people who are running the rats’ race in the corporate world. We are all so driven by ambition and money that we often forget what’s really important in our lives. We ignore things and take people for granted thinking that they will always be there while we ran the race. But in the process we actually lose too much without realizing it. Kudos to the author for managing to pass on the message so simply through the story.
